Before Class
Before starting my first year undergrads for architectural studies at UNSW I was in a pathway course during 2018. During my course I had an assignment asking us to design a house, the image above is the ground level drawing from my submitted assignment, which I believe is my best piece of creative work currently.
The Pantheon Dome is what I consider to be a great piece of architecture, the most interesting aspect I find of this piece is the dome. The dome was considered the largest in diameter for thousands of years and is still considered one of the largest unsupported dome in the world. The interior of this piece is extremely intriguing and beautiful, I hope for one day to visit this great piece of architecture.
This picture was taken by me when I was visiting Hakone, Japan in 2017. During my trip my group went on a boat ride at Lake Ashi where we stopped near a park as we walked on a hill near the park I looked around my scenery and took this photo. It was a very simple moment, nothing major happening but i found my surrounding during this time and all my times during my trip extremely beautiful. This photo shows that the simple scenery of walking around a park in Japan is what I find beautiful. I definitely will visit Japan again in the future.
